Who is iWizz
iWizz is a London-based DJ and producer, born in Egypt and raised in London, working the deeper, dirtier end of house.
He started out in a DJ duo in 2015, then went solo to build a sound of his own: old vocals, heavy low end, tech-house pressure. Classics pulled apart for a dark room at sunrise.
His first release was signed to MojoHeadz, with records since on Audio Rehab, Feel The Fruit and his own imprints, Back 2 Back Records and 1NE SOUND. He co-founded Back 2 Back Sessions and, during lockdown while everyone else was doing bedroom mixes, livestreamed a set from the Pyramids of Giza.
He has played most of London's landmark clubs. Egg, Ministry of Sound, Lightbox and Studio 338, to name a few. On the underground side he has played for Audiowhore, Siesta, Audio Rehab, The Originals and LoveJuice, among others.
